If you found a pet, please make sure to get the pet scanned for a microchip at any vet as this is a free service. We are a strictly foster based rescue. We work with shelters throughout the area. On average we get between 75-100 requests per week to take in various cats and dogs in need so if requesting for us to take a pet in, please email us at intake@darstx.org Kindly provide as much information and some photos if possible within that email. Before taking any pet to your local shelter please reach out to as many rescue organizations as you can. IF YOU MUST TAKE THE PET TO A SHELTER, PLEASE AVOID BARC WITHIN THE CITY OF HOUSTON.
